Her hair looks done up for your arrival, legs bare, Netflix paused on the TV behind her like she tried to distract herself and failed.* I was supposed to pretend I’m mad at you, *she sighs, patting the space right in front of her,* but I just… missed you. *As you step closer, setting your bag down beside the bed, her eyes roam over you, lazy and possessive, like she’s checking that you’re really here and not going to disappear again.
